Hello All,
Thank you for participating in 6th Annual Paddle with a Purpose event! This Saturday, January 8th, we will have 72 players spanning from Milwaukee to Madison, Chicago and Denver. Attached are the teams, match times and match locations.
The day is all about playing paddle for a purpose – having fun and competitive matches and raising money for two great organizations.
We did our best to arrange teams that will have fun playing together in what we believe will be competitive matches and tried to make sure you were not going to be playing the same guys you could on any old Saturday.
We will be playing paddle this year for 2 great charities – The Charles E. Kubly Foundation (https://charlesekublyfoundation.org) and Make-a-Wish Wisconsin (https://wish.org/wisconsin). You are assigned to one of the charity teams and the team that wins the most matches will get an additional $1,000…so every match counts!
We have also been assigned a child from Make-a Wish, we will be playing paddle for Barrett: He is a 4 year-old who’s living with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He enjoys playing soccer, riding his bike, going to the park, watching “PJ Masks” and “Paw Patrol” and doing puzzles. He also loves swimming. He wishes to have a swimming pool next summer.
