Opening Night Party!

Season opening party was INCREDIBLE!

Thanks to everyone who came out and appreciate all the excitement around the new clubhouse. Maybe 60-70 people throughout the night. Creten on the grill, new pizza oven making tasty pies. We had a ton of members, a handful of OGs, and a handful of prospects. Very fun night!

If you like the results, be sure to give Martin and Felbs an extra pat on the back. Those two really drove the project, with significant support from JMF and yours truly, and a lot of design input and extra hours from the whole ownership group. We know many members contributed as well, thanks to everyone who did. You’ll reap what you’ve sown…

On to serious business.

Open Paddle This Week

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Court reservations allowed this Tuesday only. Other nights are open paddle.
• Get up to the club and knock some rust off!

We own the night

• The ladies have chosen to move to daytime only. That means we own Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday AND Thursday night.
• We are sticking to league matches Monday, Wednesday, Thursday as previously communicated.
• Current plan, starting next week: Tuesday night will be open paddle, just like Saturdays.

Clubhouse Cleanup

• Don’t like it? Get your own garage!
• There are a few additional items that can be done, email Martin if you want to volunteer
• Expect a fall cleanup email in the near future as well.

New Scheduling System

• Am I the last person to recognize the similarity of “Schmeeds” and “Schedule”. #BornForThis
• Schmeeds will be launching the new S.H.I.T. system later this week, likely Wednesday.
• Personal schedule requests for the next 3 weeks need to be in by Thursday night
• You do this yourself now, don’t email Schmeeds unless your too old to use a computer
• The first 3 weeks of league schedule will come out Friday.

Below is a list of prospective members.  This is your chance to do 3 things.

1. Make sure your guys are on here. If not, they haven’t applied and won’t be members. Deadline is October 7, send them this: https://forms.gle/Rbz5DKf9pFhMCq6s7
2. Review the list, let us know if there are any red flags on here, and email me and initial ranking input
3. With some additional late drops, we do have room for a few additional members. This is LAST CALL.

Xenon Orders

• First order has been placed, you’ll receive an email when they’re at the club. Next order: Friday October 9.
• Order forms and paddle info is on the table by the court lights.
• Place order in the envelope on the fridge
• 4 demo paddles are available on the table. Feel free to use, please return to the table.

Invoices

• We still need 20+ people to pay their dues or risk being exposed in the next email
• Don’t be that guy
