Cedar Club Members,
I know you are starting to feel that chill in the air, and we all know what that means. The paddle session is right around the corner. With that being said, it’s my honor to say the clubhouse is officially open for the 2025-26 paddle season.
There has been a lot of action at the club this week, aside from those eager members trying to get their preseason lob shot working again. On Monday we wrapped up the new roof on the garage. So no more 5 foot icicles hanging from the soffit. We still need to get the inside cleaned up a bit, but we will plan to tackle that during the Fall Clean Up Day. (Sept 27th)
To kick off the season off right, come on up tonight and watch the Pack take on the Washington Commanders. Dust off those sneakers, who cares if you have holes in the toes.
Some of you might have also seen the excavator on property this week, as we now have a fresh new well pump. So don’t forget to Flush!
The Fall clean up is approaching fast.
Saturday Sept 27th, 9am to 2pm lunch provided.
I will be sending out a clean up list within the next week. I really encourage participation, this is another great event to help kick start the paddle season. Come hang out, see some familiar faces, clean up the garage and some basic yard work. Lunch is on us, burgers, brats and when we are done stick around and play some paddle in the afternoon. Badgers have a buy week, what else could you possibly have going on?
I know I speak for all of the MGMT team, but we really are excited to get this season going. Looking forward to seeing all my winter friends soon!
And don’t forget to pay your Invoices!
Your Cedar Club MVP,
— Martin Vertacnik
