Gents,
I try not to use this distribution list for personal matters but I’d like to bring something to your attention that is very important to me. One of our paddle brothers, Rick Allen, is holding a fundraiser this weekend in the name of his son who passed away at the young age of 21 just two years ago. The event is called Tips Up for Tim. It is to celebrate Tim Allen’s life and to raise funds to support addiction recovery services.
Most of you know Rick but many of you don’t. All of us of Cedar Club have benefitted from his efforts as he served as the head of maintenance and grounds of the club for many years before he relocated back to Massachusetts a few years ago. He spent countless hours working behind the scenes to make sure we all had a place to gather and enjoy this crazy game we play. Some members of Cedar Club will attend the event in person and any additional show of support is appreciated.
Please consider making a donation in Tim’s name to Turning Point Center to help those in need.
