Wisconsin Closed: 1 whole day to sign up

48th Annual Wisconsin Platform Tennis Championships

Saturday, April 20th, 2024 

Welcome to The “Wisconsin Closed” 2024 Platform Tennis Championships.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at local north shore clubs, The Town Club will be Tournament Headquarters.

We want to encourage everyone to consider playing but if you are not up for playing, we encourage you to stop up and watch the matches.  This tournament has been played for almost 50 years and it is recognized as our Wisconsin State Tournament.  

Events:  Men’s Open & Men’s B draws will have check in starting at 7:30am with matches beginning @ 8am. $40 per person entry fee. 

Women’s Open & Women’s B draws will have check in starting 10:30 with matches starting @ 11am.  $40 per person entry fee.  

You can pay the day of the tournament by cash, check, Venmo, or TC members can have it billed to your account.

ENTRY DEADLINE:  

We will accept entries through Wednesday, April 17th at 6pm.  We will do the draws that night.

Format:  Main Draw matches will be the best two of three sets with regular scoring.  Back Draw matches will be best two of three sets with a 10 point breaker in lieu of a third set. Tournament Director has the ability to make other back draw changes to speed up play if needed. We will do our best to get each team at least 3 matches.  

Lunch:    We will have a light lunch provided at The Town Club Paddle House 11am – 1pm.  We will have soda and beer available throughout the day.  

Championship Match Times  

                Once we have the registration completed (April 17th) and the Main Draws finalized, we can give you approximate final times.  In the past, we have been shooting for mid afternoon for both Men’s and Women’s Finals.
