Despite a cold and steady snowfall that melted on contact, the Cedar Club Championship was a bright spot in an otherwise dreary day.  Kudos to the Cedar Club courts that withstood the wet conditions quite well — although the balls took an absolute skin-off pounding.

This year’s dynamic duo was Mike Aiken and Brad Seefeld, winners over Drew Lied and Nicholas Bruneau.  “Brad was awesome throughout the tournament… his wing span — man, he’s unstoppable,” said Aiken of his partner.

“Mike is simply the best player I’ve ever played with.  It’s nice to be Club Champion!” added Seefeld.

In the “coveted” Consolation bracket, Jim Carlos and Nikk Tewalk walked away with the honors.

Once again, special thanks go out to the tournament director, Dan Einhorn, not only for a well run tourney, but preparing the meals on the day, as well!  A Cedar Club first…. and perhaps not the last?
