In what has become another great TCC tradition, the night before Thanksgiving is an open paddle night not to be missed.  There may have been as many as 30 Cedar Club members watching or playing!  All skill levels were heckled, as is the norm; representatives from the Vodka Alliance were in full force, as were TCC Hall of Famers Nick Curran (cigar only), Eric McNally (paddle in hand) and even “wishes he was a Hall-of-Famer” Bruce Hutson (beer in hand).

It’s hard to say if the paddle play actually allowed for more generous helpings of stuffing and turkey the following day, but you could say to your spouse that you were “playing paddle for three hours” — which may buy you at least another piece of pumpkin pie and first crack at the sofa.

Next year, be sure to put it on your calendar!
