DRAFT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope everyone is well, healthy, resting, and ready to go.
Tonight is the draft. We will kick that off at 9 PM, in order to accommodate some of you that have non-Cedar Club responsibilities. Feel free to come up early and play some paddle, with the TCCC mandate that you are not allowed to get hurt.
We encourage you to attend in person, but there will also be a zoom meeting:

Meeting ID: 880 7226 0420
Passcode: Cpd273
We will draft the A flight, then the B Flight, then the C flight….
Saturday’s action will begin at 8 AM, and we are playing at the Cedar Club, Town Club, Milwaukee Country Club and Scott Schroeder’s court.
There will be TV’s set up for Masters coverage
Since we have such a large field, please consider car-pooling or getting dropped off. We have about 30 spots, and 54 players, so….the math isn’t great if everyone drives
We ordered a couple extra favors… If you are not playing and want one, let me know. They are pretty sweet.
If you want to pay, it is venmo… @Daniel-Einhorn-2
I will go through the draft order and more details tonight, but feel free to shoot over questions.

Draft Roster and A-B-C Flighted Tournament Set-Up
More about the tournament…
First, mark you calendar’s for the draft which will take place at 7 PM on Thursday, April 10th
The Tournament is on Saturday, April 12th
We will be providing breakfast, lunch, pizza, drinks, and a pretty cool gift. Cost for the event is $75. You can venmo me at @Daniel-Einhorn-2.
Here is the format
There will be 3 flights. You will be playing with (IN THEORY) those of similar skill set, so we should have a very competitive tournament.
The A flight will have 8 teams
The C flight will have 6 teams
The B flight will have the remainder
The A flight and the B flight will play a typical tournament with a consolation draw. Matches will be 2 out of 3 sets. In the first round, if you split sets, the third set will start at 2-2. We will be playing FBI and ad scoring.
The C flight will be split into 2 divisions and play a round robin. The 2 flight winners will play in the championship.
The A Flight will draft first. Those drafting can take anyone available as their partner. You do not have to go by the rankings should you find a partner that is lower on the ladder that works best for you.
Here is the draft order
CJ Armbrust
Dusan Medan
Teddy Stuckslager
Erik Zipp
Drew Lied
Michael Johnson
Mike Aiken
David Brock
After the A Flight is set, we will draft the B flight. Currently there are 55 total people signed up, but we will finalize that prior to Thursday, as I realize there may be add/drops between now and next week.
See preliminary roster (above) of entrants and draw schedule. If your status is different from what I have, please let me know. — Dan Einhorn
